Our Work: Helping the Blind
The Boarding School for the Blind receives its first milk cow.
Helped the Boarding School for the Blind that has 85 blind children with:
- Starting a vegetable garden to supplement their nutritional intake
- Fixed toilets and showers
- Procure Braille paper
- Find support for the purchase of milk cow
- Facilitate a drilling of water well
- HIV awareness lessons
- Provided blankets
- Provided Braille literacy lessons to enable them join the public school
- Helped them get slates, styluses and Braille papers
