Facilitating Medical Help
- Hope Community Services Ethiopia facilitates medical outreaches of expatriate medical professionals to come to Ethiopia and treat patients
- Helps destitute patients with medicine they can't afford to buy
- Involves in finding donations of medical equipments for hospitals in the Tigrai state
Family Wellness Project
Our Family Wellness Project began as a grassroots education program to foster healthy living choices for Ethiopia's families. It has since been sanctioned by the government and is coordinated by an American nurse.
The project has the following objectives:- To promote the well being of the whole family by teaching health and nutritional lessons
- To provide HIV awareness, voluntary testing encouragement, counseling and referral service to those that carry the virus
- To reduce the transmission of HIV from pregnant mothers to their babies.
